Bashed by Bolton!!

Well that didn’t exactly go to plan now did it?  Needing a win to put them back on track, Liverpool travelled to Bolton with expectations of a win.  Bolton had other plans and came out winners, putting 3 past Liverpool.

Man City 0 – Liverpool 1

Last night saw the first leg of the league cup semi final being played, with Liverpool travelling to the Etihad Stadium to take on Man City.  Liverpool were once again without Suarez, whilst Man City had their own Kompany missing  through suspension and Toure playing in the African Cup of Nations.

New Year’s Football

So 2011 ended on a slightly high note for Liverpool, with a win over Newcastle, and the teams around us almost all losing….. …2012 could have continued this great run, but we got spanked by Man City. Still I suppose the silver lining in the cloud is that it meant United couldn’t go top.
